Appointment of Stenographer, Clerk in Birbhum District Court

93 persons will be appointed as English Stenographer, Translator, Lower Division Clerk, Process Server, Peon / Night Guard in the District Judge's Office, Birbhum District, West Bengal (stenographer recruitment 2022).

Vacancies: English Stenographer Grade 3: 5, Bengali Translator: 3, Lower Division Clerk: 26, Process Server: 6, Peon / Night Guard: 49.

Salary scale: 32100-62900 rupees according to level 10 for English Stenographer post. 26900-84500 according to level 9 for the post of Bangla Translator.

22700-58500 for the post of Lower Division Clerk. 21000-54000 according to level 5 in process server position. 16000-43600 according to level 1 for the post of Peon / Night Guard.

Age limit: The age for the post of English Stenographer and Bengali Translator should be between 18-39 years. The age limit for the remaining posts should be between 18-40 years.

In all cases, the age has to be completed as on January 1, 2022 and the reserved category candidates will get a discount on the upper limit as per the rules.

Eligibility: Stenographer: Must take shorthand at a speed of 60 words per minute with secondary or equivalent side.

And at a speed of 30 words per minute, you have to type the manuscript in English on the computer in ten minutes. Must have basic knowledge of computer.

Bangla Translator: Graduate in any branch, English / Bangla / Linguistics will be preferred if Honors Graduate.

Must have proficiency in translation from English to Bengali and from Bengali to English. Must have basic knowledge of computer.

Lower Division Clerk: Must have Computer Training Certificate with Secondary or equivalent pass.

Process Server: 8th class pass, basic knowledge of computer is recommended.

Peon / Night Guard: 8th class pass.

Candidate Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected through written test and interview. Detailed information about the written test can be found on the website.

Application Fee: Fee for English Stenographer is Rs.600 / -, Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Rs.600 / - and Physically Handicapped Rs.480 / -.

600 for Bangla Translator, Rs. 500 for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and Rs. 420 for Physically Handicapped.

600 for Lower Division Clerk and Process Server, Rs. 400 for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes

And 360 rupees for the physically challenged. Rs.500 / - for Peon / Night Guard, Rs.350 / - for Scheduled Castes / Tribes and Rs.350 / - for Physically Handicapped.

Application fee can be paid through Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI Payment / E-Wallet / Net Banking.
